Is a consent form required for children?

Children between 12 and 18 years of age who would like to use our climbing forest without an accompanying adult need a declaration of consent from their parents. Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult in the climbing forest. This assumes responsibility for the supervision of the child. Children from the age of 6 can take part in the high courses. With our Ropeglider safety system, children are permanently secured. It is no longer necessary to rehang the safety ropes. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult on the high courses. 6-7 year olds need a companion to climb through the course. One adult can accompany up to 3 children. For 8-9 year olds, it is also possible to accompany them from the floor. One adult can accompany up to 6 children. For children aged 10-12, it is sufficient if a supervisor is on site in the climbing forest. Accompanying persons who are not the child's legal guardians must obtain their consent. This can also be done verbally. The same applies to groups of children. Here it is the responsibility of the group leader to obtain the consent of the parents.

Age restriction

Climbing is possible in the children's course from 4 years old. The course is between 1.2 and 1.7m high. 4 and 5 year olds can be supported by adults from the floor. One adult can supervise up to three children. For 6-7 year olds, one adult can look after up to 8 children. Children aged 6 and over are allowed on the high courses, but must be accompanied by an adult. One adult can accompany and support up to 3 children aged 6-7 on the course. For 8-9 year olds, the accompanying person can also supervise from the floor (up to 6 children). Children up to 12 years of age must be accompanied into the climbing forest by an adult. Children aged 12 and over can also visit the climbing forest alone with their parents' consent (completed and signed "Acknowledgment of the General Terms and Conditions" download see below).

You can pay on site in cash or by card (EC card, various credit cards).

Do i have to reserve a hornest?

It is not absolutely necessary to reserve or book in advance. However, if you visit spontaneously, there may be considerable waiting times.

You can book directly on our homepage under the “Tickets” menu item and secure the climbing time you want.

What happens in bad weather?

If it only rains lightly, we will be open as normal and all reservations/bookings remain binding. If there is a thunderstorm, we unfortunately have to close the climbing forest and all reservations/bookings become invalid.

If you absolutely do not want to climb if it rains even a little (drizzle), then you can cancel or reschedule free of charge the afternoon before the appointment (in writing by email).

At least 75% of the bindingly reserved/booked belts must be paid for on the day!

What are the cancellation conditions?

A climbing reservation/booking can be changed or canceled free of charge up to 1 day before the appointment (in writing by email).

How long can i climb?

The action time is up to 180 minutes. This is divided into approximately 20 minutes of safety instruction and 160 minutes of climbing time. In principle, an extension of the climbing time is possible for an additional charge per person and 30 minutes. This cannot be booked in advance.
